Gregory G. Nickson


Gregory Nickson is a partner in the firm’s Energy department. Gregory represents regulated energy, water and telecommunications clients on a variety of matters before state public utility commissions and federal agencies and in federal and state court. Gregory has counseled clients on mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, licensing proceedings, prudence matters, and environmental permitting matters. He also represents clients in obtaining state regulatory approval for financings and restructurings and advises clients on a variety of utility regulations. Gregory's practice also includes complex rate proceedings and matters related to interconnection, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.

In addition, Gregory counsels clients on risk minimization, regulatory compliance, litigation avoidance and litigation management associated with environmental and energy matters.
