Scott E. Rekant is of counsel in the firm’s Environmental department. He focuses his practice on representing financial institutions, private corporations, not-for-profit entities, and public entities in environmental matters. He also provides general corporate advice to residential landlords and advises a municipal joint insurance fund on coverage issues.

Scott joined the firm in 2016 after serving as a Deputy Attorney General in the Tort Litigation, Environmental, and Transportation Sections of the New Jersey Division of Law. He has an extensive background in government, regulatory, administrative and environmental matters, including representing governmental agencies in eminent domain and public contract actions.
