Andrew P. Nitkewicz is a seasoned estate and trust litigator who, throughout his career, has litigated cases in Surrogate’s Courts throughout New York. Mr. Nitkewicz also regularly litigates complex litigation matters including Business and Commercial Litigation, Medical and Dental Litigation, Real Estate Litigation and Negligence Litigation in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Nitkewicz has obtained numerous favorable jury verdicts in New York City Metropolitan Area Courts. Several of these verdicts have been published in national verdict reporters. Mr. Nitkewicz was named a “Super Lawyer” for the years 2015 and 2016 in the area of Business and Commercial Litigation and in 2017 for the area of Estate and Trust Litigation.

Mr. Nitkewicz regularly serves as general and litigation counsel to numerous doctors, dentists, oral surgeons, chiropractors, nurses, pharmacists, and other medical professionals and medical service providers. Mr. Nitkewicz possesses a thorough knowledge and understanding of the unique healthcare, insurance, and malpractice laws in New York and New Jersey, as well as federal regulations such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). In fact, Mr. Nitkewicz regularly provides medical practitioners with counsel on HIPAA compliance.
