Mr. Cordrey specializes in Litigation and Trials. He has tried over 50 cases to verdict and many others to either settlement or dismissals during trials, mediation and arbitration. He has completed trials in State and Federal Court before both bench and juries. Most of his work centers on insurance defense, products liability, construction accidents and premises liability. He also has commercial litigation experience related to contract disputes and real estate conflicts. Finally, Mr. Cordrey acts as a Guardian ad Litem in probate and trust and estate matters in Surrogate’s Court.
Mr. Cordrey started practice out of law school at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office - Trial Division. He then moved to private practice in 1988 working as a Litigator with emphasis on trial and appellate work. Areas of specialization include insurance defense, product liability, construction accident cases, premises liability, commercial litigation arising out of contract, real estate and trusts and estate disputes. He has represented in litigation both plaintiffs and defendants to verdict and has considerable insurance declaratory judgment experience for insurance conflicts.
