Imaan Moughal is an Associate in the firm's Trust and Estates Department where she focuses her practice on matters related to trusts and estates, probate procedure and administration of trusts and estates of decedents. Imaan regularly assists clients with will and trust drafting, wealth management, elder law, medicaid and tax planning. She has extensive experience in Surrogate’s Courts throughout New York representing clients on a variety of contested matters and proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Imaan was a judicial clerk to Hon. Peter J. Kelly at Queens Surrogate's Court where she handled complex estate litigation matters. While in law school, Imaan served as a Surrogate’s Scholar to Hon. Edward W. McCarty III at Nassau County Surrogate’s Court and interned at the New York State Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman’s office.
Imaan is actively involved in bar associations in the Trusts and Estates community.
