Angela Cascione has represented energy and utility clients in a broad range of environmental, policy and regulatory matters before the New York State Public Service Commission and other State, as well as Federal and local, regulatory agencies. Ms. Cascione's  representation includes preparation of applications, pleadings, exhibits, discovery and presentations for use in litigation and collaboration before various regulatory agencies. She also drafts tariffs and negotiates contracts necessary for the provision of gas and electric utility services. Ms. Cascione has participated in appeals of Federal and State agency certificate and rulemaking decisions. In addition, she assists clients in a variety of general corporate and utility company related matters, including siting of  energy facilities,  prosecution of permit applications, negotiation of gas supply arrangements and development of traditional and alternate energy projects.

Ms. Cascione is one of the firm partners that supervises the firm's Facility Siting group, which represents clients involved in the development and construction of major gas and electric transmission facilities pursuant to the New York Public Service Law . As a corollary to the siting practice, Ms. Cascione assists energy clients in the acquisition of real property rights necessary to construct, operate and maintain such facilities, including securing involuntary acquisitions pursuant to the New York Eminent Domain Procedure Law.
