Bonnie Pollack


Bonnie Pollack has substantial experience in representing all types of debtors including publicly and privately held corporations, retailers, e-tailers, real estate developers, partnerships, construction companies, as well as creditors committees and chapter 7 trustees, in bankruptcy proceedings and out of court workouts.  In addition, a significant part of Ms. Pollack's practice is in representing commercial lending institutions, businesses and individuals in pursuing creditor’s rights in bankruptcy cases and workouts. 

Ms. Pollack has considerable experience in the workout of loans and financial obligations. She has participated in workouts and restructurings of real estate loans and commercial business loans on both the lenders’ and the borrowers’ behalf, and has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting forbearance agreements and other types of stand-still agreements. Ms. Pollack has represented borrowers and lenders in the restructuring of loan documents and has participated in numerous UCC peaceful possession deals. In addition, Ms. Pollack has experience in dealing with SIPA, the Stockholder Investor Protection Act.

In addition to general bankruptcy and workout experience, Ms. Pollack represents banks and other financial lending institutions on commercial lending transactions. Ms. Pollack has also developed a niche in bankruptcy construction and general construction matters. She has represented construction companies as debtors and creditors in various bankruptcy cases, has represented general contractors in cases filed by their subcontractors, and has represented secured lenders in bankruptcy cases.

Ms. Pollack has conducted several trials in bankruptcy cases and has extensive background in federal appellate litigation in District Courts and the Court of Appeals, and has participated in cases before the Supreme Court of the  United States of America.

Ms. Pollack has been awarded an AV rating for her professionalism and the quality of her legal work from Martindale-Hubbell, the premiere directory of legal professionals.

Past Experience

While at New York Law School, Ms. Pollack was a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Awards for Debtors and Creditors Rights; Wills, Trusts & Estates; and Insurance Law.

Ms. Pollack is a past Chairperson of the Bankruptcy Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institution and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.
