Brian E. Murray is a partner in the firm’s Banking and Financial Services department. He represents financial institutions and corporate clients in commercial real estate finance transactions including commercial mortgage loans, multi-family real estate financings, and law firm lending. Brian represents the firm’s clients in the leasing, purchase, and sale of commercial and residential real estate, and he has advised financial institutions on regulatory and compliance issues such as community reinvestment, truth-in-savings, funds availability, electronic funds transfers, fair lending, ATM safety, and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA).

In addition to providing general regulatory counsel to established institutions, Brian has advised clients regarding and prepared applications to federal and state regulatory authorities for the chartering of new financial institutions and holding companies. Brian has also represented a number of condominium and cooperative complexes in a wide variety of legal matters.
