Ms. Neyman specializes in tort litigation including defending various public and private entities as well as individuals. Ms. Neyman handles diverse cases including premises liability, construction site accidents, automobile accidents, and property damage cases from intake to trial. Recently, Ms. Neyman handled premises liability case to trial in Supreme Court, Nassau County, which led to a favorable settlement for her clients. Ms. Neyman has also second-seated in several complex personal injury and Labor Law actions. In addition, Ms. Neyman has handled countless depositions, drafted and argued numerous dispositive motions and participated in mediations and arbitrations. Ms. Neyman has also briefed and argued several appeals in the First and Second Departments of the State of New York.
From 2006 to 2008, Ms. Neyman was associated with a private insurance defense firm, where she handled defense of construction site accident actions covered by the New York State Labor Law.
While in law school, Ms. Neyman interned for Honorable Joanna Seybert of U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York. Ms. Neyman also interned for the Legal Department of the New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, where she specialized in labor and employment law as well as trusts and estates.
