Douglas J. Bohn
Mr. Bohn is an experienced litigator in the firm’s Commercial Litigation department. His practice areas include commercial litigation, business disputes, utilities, constitutional law, banking and real estate matters. He regularly handles litigations involving contract disputes, employment issues, mortgage disputes and foreclosures, commercial and residential lending, title claims, partnership law, civil rights and municipal matters. Mr. Bohn is also part of the firm’s Restructuring Group which provides a multi-disciplined approach to representing clients with respect to restructuring problem loans, purchasing or selling of distressed assets and similar matters. Mr. Bohn also has extensive experience in mass tort and product liability cases, including serving as national liaison counsel in industry-wide liability lawsuits throughout the country, as well as in the areas of construction litigation, Article 78 proceedings, and environmental matters.
In addition to litigation matters, Mr. Bohn also counsels clients in risk management and avoidance. Experienced beyond the courtroom, Mr. Bohn has designed and engaged in mediation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings throughout the country, seeking always to reach the best possible results for his clients in the most effective manner.
