Elisa M. Pugliese
Ms. Pugliese joined the Litigation department of the firm in 2009. She has extensive experience in advising utility clients concerning their rights and obligations under their tariffs and state regulations in commercial litigation, collections and bankruptcy matters. She has represented clients before utility commissions on customer complaints. She has represented creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy cases, including obtaining adequate assurance of future payment for utilities, defending claims objections, defending preference actions, and prosecuting dischargeability actions. She has represented clients as both plaintiffs and defendants in state court and federal court actions at all stages of litigation including discovery, motion practice, trial and appeals.
