Glenn A. Opell

Mr. Opell is a partner in the firm’s Trusts and Estates department. Mr. Opell’s concentration is in the field of estate and trust litigation, regularly representing estate representatives and beneficiaries in contested probate and administration proceedings, estate and trust accountings, as well as in proceedings to discover and recover assets wrongfully taken from estates and trusts.  Mr. Opell is also experienced in non-contested estate administration, from the marshaling of assets to the drafting of estate and trust accountings, the preparation and filing of estate tax returns and the representation of personal representatives in estate tax audits.

Mr. Opell's other areas of concentration are in wealth transfer planning, include the drafting of simple and complex wills, trusts and powers of attorney, as well as in incapacity planning, which includes guardianship matters and the field of elder law.
