Jeffrey Fegan has defended several types of cases, including general liability, premises liability, strict/products liability, construction site accidents, automobile accidents, breach of contract, declaratory judgment, and consumer fraud, in both New York and New Jersey. Mr. Fegan has also served as counsel for petitioners/plaintiffs in collection, real estate foreclosure, and CPLR Article 78 Proceedings in relation to the Freedom of Information Law. Mr. Fegan has acted as defense counsel in several types of toxic tort cases, including those arising from claims of exposure to asbestos, carbon monoxide, and diacetyl, injuries relating to the World Trade Center cleanup following September 11, 2001, and several catastrophic injury cases. Mr. Fegan also assists in coordinating the defense of one client with respect to asbestos litigation on a national level. His individual responsibilities include preparing pleadings, conducting depositions, conducting arbitrations/mediations, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, selecting juries, and conducting bench and jury trials.
