Jennean R. Rogers

Ms. Rogers practices in the Commercial Litigation department. She has experience in all phases of litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution and routinely advises corporate clients on litigation strategy and legal positioning related to contract disputes and commercial and residential lending. Ms. Rogers also practices in the Labor and Employment Litigation department and has counseled and represented employers in a wide range of labor and employment law matters from a complex class action lawsuit to litigation involving workplace disputes under Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Equal Pay Act and the New York State Labor and Human Rights Laws.  She has developed extensive municipal legal experience that consists of litigating civil rights claims arising under Section 1983 of the Civil Rights Act and has represented County Executives, Police Commissioners and various governmental officials and agencies.  

Past Experience

Ms. Rogers was a Deputy County Attorney for the Office of the Nassau County Attorney where she represented Nassau County in various matters such as constitutional issues, employment discrimination and election law. From 2003 to 2005, Ms. Rogers served as Village Prosecutor for Garden City.
