Jennifer McLaughlin is a member of the Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups of the Firm. Ms. McLaughlin is admitted to practice before the state courts of New York and New Jersey and she is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts of the Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey as well as the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeals. She regularly represents energy and pipeline entities, municipalities, financial and educational institutions in a wide array of commercial litigation matters before state and federal courts as well as in alternative dispute resolution forums. Her practice includes land use and zoning matters, acquisition of real property rights, including securing involuntary acquisitions pursuant to the New York Eminent Domain Procedure Law, Article 78 proceedings and defense of landowner challenges to utility and pipeline company construction and operation activities as well as complex tax constitutionality challenges on behalf of utility companies. Ms. McLaughlin also regularly litigates intellectual property matters involving unfair competition, trademark and copyright infringement in judicial and administrative tribunals. 

Ms. McLaughlin was selected in 2011 by the Long Island Business News to be featured in its publication entitled “Who’s Who in Women in Professional Services.” This annual listing recognizes Long Island’s top women business leaders in the banking, law, accounting, and healthcare industries.
