Margaret Mazlin
Ms. Mazlin has been managing a substantial caseload, arising out of construction site, premises, trip/slip and fall as well as automobile accidents, from inception to trial, including motion and appellate work. She has been litigating all aspects of personal injury and property damage suits in the defense of a public utility, a public housing corporation, private entities and insurance company insureds. In this context, Ms. Mazlin has handled multiple trials (20 trials, 10 of which went to verdict), attended hundreds of depositions, defended various arbitrations, participated in numerous mediations and briefed as well as argued appeals before the appellate courts of New York State (8 appeals argued).
Past Experience
Prior to joining Cullen and Dykman LLP in April 1999, Ms. Mazlin worked as a clerk at the office of in-house counsel for CIGNA Insurance and then was associated with a mid-size, private insurance defense firm where she handled cases arising out of automobile, premises, trip/slip and fall accidents from inception through all pretrial proceedings.
