Paul G. Wood is Senior Counsel in the firm’s Banking  and Financial Services department. He has more than 35 years of experience representing banks and other institutional lenders. Paul has experience negotiating and drafting agreements for the sale of residential, multi-family and commercial mortgage loans. He has also represented mortgage banks and other banking institutions in the origination and sale of loans in the secondary market; securitization transactions with government-sponsored enterprises; and, the origination, participation and sale of federally insured multi-family construction and permanent mortgage loans. Paul has represented banks with regard to the purchase and sale of branches, branch operational issues, and banking administration and regulatory compliance.

Paul has broad experience advising clients regarding state and federal consumer regulations as they apply to residential and commercial lending, including the drafting of loan documents, federal and state required disclosures and closing procedures. He has lectured on these topics to first-time home buyers, attorneys and lending institutions. Paul also represents buyers and sellers of commercial real property.
