Steven J. Robinson
Mr. Robinson represents commercial lenders in connection with both real estate and asset-based lending. Mr. Robinson has broad experience in loans secured by multi-family dwellings, commercial office buildings, shopping malls and mixed-use properties, as well as construction lending and secured transactions pursuant to the Uniform Commercial Code.
In addition to commercial lending, Mr. Robinson has extensive experience in the area of creditor’s rights, including the negotiation and drafting of loan workout agreements, the handling of commercial and residential foreclosure litigation and the representation of creditors in related bankruptcy cases.
Mr. Robinson has also regularly provided lenders with advice on a wide range of regulatory issues, represented title insurers in claims matters, negotiated commercial lease agreements on behalf of both landlord and tenants and represented buyers and sellers in connection with both real estate and business asset acquisitions.
Past Experience
Mr. Robinson served as a Senior Attorney with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation during the banking crisis of the early 1990s.
