Verley A. Brown
Verley A. Brown is an associate in both the firm’s Trust and Estates department and Corporate department. His practice includes estate planning and administration, representation of clients on a variety of matters involving energy and utility transactions and regulation, including ratemaking and other proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the New York State Public Service Commission, and the preparation of immigration applications for visas, U.S. citizenship and permanent residence. Mr. Brown also represents landlords and tenants in a variety of leasing transactions, including commercial, office, ground, shopping center and other retail leases.
Past Experience
Mr. Brown was formerly a Senior Surrogate’s Court Clerk in the Surrogate’s Court, Bronx County, where he handled accounting and miscellaneous proceedings. Mr. Brown is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
