Joseph Simon Honored at LIBN Leadership in Law Awards

Simon, a Partner in the Firm’s banking department, will be honored at the Long Island Business News 2016 Leadership in Law Awards. This award recognizes those individuals whose leadership, both in the legal profession and in the community, has had a positive impact on Long Island. The award ceremony will take place this evening, Thursday, November 17th at the Crest Hollow Country Club.
Mr. Simon advises financial institutions on a wide range of issues, including truth-in-lending, RESPA, truth-in-savings, financial privacy, transactions with affiliates, lending limits, electronic banking, banking operations, and currency transaction and IRS reporting obligations. He has represented financial institutions on various types of regulatory applications, including bank holding company filings, branch applications, mortgage banking license applications, change in control applications, and service corporation and operating subsidiary notices.
