M&A Advisor Awards Refinancing Deal of the Year to Cullen and Dykman Team Led By Partner John F. State
A transaction worked on by Cullen and Dykman LLP has been named by The M&A Advisor as winner of this year’s “Refinancing Deal of the Year (Under $250 Million)” award at its annual Turnaround Awards. The transaction earning this award was the Refinancing of Chicago American Manufacturing & Affiliated Companies. Cullen and Dykman represented the lender, Veritas Financial Partners, on the transaction. The Cullen and Dykman team was led by John F. State, a partner in the firm’s Banking, Corporate, and Real Estate groups, and included associate Daniel A. Devine.

Cullen and Dykman Partner John State has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of commercial lending, equipment leasing and finance and asset-based lending. He represents banks and non-bank finance companies in connection with a myriad of financing transactions, and is based at the firm’s Albany office.
Daniel Devine is an associate in the firm’s Banking, Lending and Commercial Real Estate departments. Working from the firm’s Wall Street, NY office, he represents institutional clients in connection with commercial financing, acquisitions, sales, leasing and real estate development.
The nominations, representing over 300 participating companies, were judged by an independent jury of industry experts. The award was given at the 11th Annual Turnaround Awards Program at the Distressed Investing Summit on March 22-23, 2017, at the Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.
