Cullen and Dykman Welcomes New Partner Julie Weerth
GARDEN CITY, NY- Cullen and Dykman LLP is pleased to announce that Julie Weerth has joined the firm as a Partner in the Construction Litigation and Insurance Coverage Practices where she will lead the Risk Transfer & Insurance Coverage group. The firm’s strategic addition of Julie Weerth as Partner in its Wall Street Office will have a huge impact on behalf of our clients and on the firm’s commitment to growth and expansion in these areas.
Julie, who formerly served as Vice President of Complex Casualty Claims at AIG, began her career as a litigator in New York, specializing in Labor Law and Insurance Coverage Litigation. She now joins Cullen and Dykman with the experience of managing hundreds of complex casualty cases nationwide, including: class action; mass tort; products liability; construction defect; environmental pollution; sexual abuse; Title IX; discrimination, defamation, product disparagement; and public entities liability.

As a highly experienced Insurance Coverage litigator, Julie has managed the insurance coverage litigation of some of the most high-profile and precedent setting declaratory judgment actions of the last decade, with amounts in dispute frequently exceeding $100 million. Julie returns to her New York litigation roots to compliment and continue the success of the firm’s Construction Litigation and Insurance Coverage Practices, which has expanded to over 25 lawyers in less than two years.

Julie earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and her B.A. from St. John’s University. She is admitted to practice in New York State.
