Employment Litigation

The firm’s Employment Litigation practice covers both the private and public sectors and involves the litigation of all employment issues.  We have represented clients in contract interpretation, discipline arbitrations as well as in proceedings before the Public Employment Relations Board and the National Labor Relations Board.  We regularly represent our clients in matters involving interpreting and applying personnel policies including areas such as drug testing, hiring, polygraph tests, sexual harassment, employee handbooks, social media policies and affirmative action plans.

Our Employment Litigation group represents its institutional clients in state and federal courts in matters involving the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VI, Title VII, the Human Rights Law, and the New York State Civil Service Law.  We handle such matters from inception through trial.
