Intellectual Property

The firm's Intellectual Property attorneys advise and represent clients on trademark, service mark and copyright issues.  This practice involves preparing, filing and prosecuting trademark or service mark applications at the state and federal levels (United States Patent and Trademark Office); reviewing and analyzing trademark and service mark search reports and advising clients on the availability of marks, symbols, logos, etc.; enforcing trademark registrations, drafting and negotiating consent agreements and concurrent use agreements; and drafting and negotiating trademark and service mark license agreements. This practice group also handles administrative proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board in addition to state and federal district court trademark, copyright, and unfair competition litigation.
