Tort Litigation and Insurance Defense
Cullen and Dykman LLP enjoys an excellent reputation for our litigation skills. We represent our clients in a wide variety of matters ranging from the representation of individuals and corporations in personal injury and insurance coverage actions to large commercial cases. We are frequently called upon to act as trial counsel on high exposure cases. As a complement to our trial skills, we have extensive experience in appellate practice and act as appellate counsel for our clients.
Our Litigation Department regularly covers all five counties within the City of New York, as well as the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Putnam and Orange. We also cover all courts in New Jersey and we are presently expanding our practice into Connecticut. However, when the need arises, our litigators are quite comfortable in other jurisdictions and we have represented our clients in matters in courts from Texas to Maine. In addition to our extensive practice in the state courts, our firm is very experienced in federal court practice.
All of the firm's litigation clients have a partner assigned to each matter. Unless the matter requires it, the assignment partner, of course, does not provide all of the legal services. Rather, each assignment partner is responsible for the quality and cost of the services provided and is available to the client to answer any and all questions or concerns.
We offer a flexible and competitive billing rate and are familiar with the policies of many legal auditors such as Legalguard and Law Audit Services, with whom we have an excellent relationship.
Along with the extensive legal experience we provide to our clients, we are also committed to keeping our clients informed of recent developments in the law. Accordingly, senior members of our litigation staff lecture on a regular basis to our clients concerning issues which frequently arise in litigation.
